Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has arrived in Kabul on an official visit. According to Pakistani media, he will hold talks with Amir Khan Mottaki, acting foreign minister of Afghanistan, on security, trade, refugees and other issues.
Qureshi’s visit to Kabul comes at a time when the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has recently launched a major offensive in Pakistan and Pakistan has repeatedly called on the Islamic Emirate to curb TTP threats. The Islamic Emirate has said that this is a domestic issue of Pakistan and they are not interested in interfering in it.
