Acting Foreign Minister Maulvi Amir Khan Mottaki has met with UN High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Vitorino and his accompanying delegation.
According to the ministry, during the visit, Vitorino said that with the onset of winter, their priority is to provide shelter, clothing and other necessities to the poor and promised to continue their activities in Afghanistan. .
At the same time, Mottaki thanked the United Nations for its assistance and called for the identification of those in real need and the release of Afghanistan’s frozen assets in order to solve economic problems.
