According to reports, high school girls in Bamyan have been allowed to go to school. The source said that all the girls can continue their education but they will be taught by female teachers.
Earlier, all schools in Sar-e-Pul, Balkh and Kunduz provinces were opened for girls. After Kabul surrendered to the Taliban, girls’ schools were closed in all provinces of the country, and now a gradual process of reopening has begun. Meanwhile, the doors of universities are still closed to students and the cabinet of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan says it will soon reopen them.
